Movie reveiws

If you are going to see a movie soon, I'd recommend Blind Side or Sherlock Holmes. I saw Sherlock Holmes last night, and Blind Side a few weeks ago. Blind Side is an incredibly well written football movie, coming from me, who hates football movies. It's a true story about a boy named Michael Oher, a football player on the Ravens. The main character, a strong, southern woman, is the best part. I'll leave the rest for you to find out.

Sherlock Holmes, however, is just as great, being an intense action movie. Robert Downy Junior plays the part of Sherlock exceptionally well. I like mysteries, but not one of those dumb "kid detective things". Sherlock Holmes is a little fast, and a lot confusing, but I ended up understanding at least four fifths of it.

My day

Last night I watched the saddest movie ever; Titanic. My mom, my sister, and me all cried and I figured out something. I am a wimp. I don't want to be a wimp. I want to be brave and fight evil and have great adventures. But, no! I'm a normal, wimpy girl who lives in a normal house.

The day started out when my mom, sister and I were driving to Baltimore, and I watched Lord of the Rings on my new nano. Then we went to this awesome cafe with my mom's friend in who lives in. I got the strangest drink imaginable. It was called a Bubble Tea Latte, and I got a strawberry one. The liquid was yucky, but the bottom half of the cup was filled with pearl- sized black tapioca that came through the straw. It was so funny because you'd be drinking then this tapioca would come through the straw and then you'd be chewing. I got a banana nut muffin (I LOVE MUFFINS!) and then we left.

We went to a beading store for two hours and I got a peacock feather that I balanced on different parts of my body for the entire two hours. Then I went home and wrote for about fifteen minutes on my dad's old laptop that I got for Christmas. Then we watched Titanic. There are two tapes, and they were like two different movies. The first one is a romance story about two people who meet on a cruise ship (the boring part). The second tape is a disaster movie about a ship sinking and everybody trying to survive (the exciting part). That was my day.
