Things to do when you're bored.

I'm at my house, bored and alone(except for my dog). So, I looked up things to do when you're bored. There were some really weird things, but others required stuff I didn't have(like jump off your balcony onto a trampoline). Anyway, I decided to make a list myself. (None of these should get you in trouble.)

People with pets(preferably dogs or cats)
  1. Freak out your pet . Act very calm as you're walking up to it, then suddenly jump out at it and go "BLAAAHHHHHH!"
  2. Pretend your pet is a dance partner and grab him/her by their front legs and dance around.
  3. Play hide and seek. Throw a treat, then go hide , and see how long it takes your pet to find you.
  4. Make tests for your pet. Make obstacles and see how long it takes for them to get around. Try it again with a treat on the other side. Or hide a toy or treat in a room. Then stand in the middle of the room and see how long your pet takes to find it.
  5. Take your pet onto your bed(or floor with a blanket). Go under the covers or blanket and try to find and grab your pet from under the blanket or covers, then pull he/she under.

People with a creative mind

  1. Dress up in dress-up clothes(it's not really that childish) or just regular clothes and make up stories and act then out and play all of the characters. If you want, you can act it out for your family later, or you could turn it into a novel.
  2. Open 5-10 of your favorite books and write down one random sentence from that page(one sentence per book). Then make a crazy sentence using one word from every sentence you got out of the book. See where it takes you.
  3. Get all of your stuffed animals, dolls, or action figures and put them in a setting. For example, they could be spying, preparing for war, doing a book club, shopping, going to school, or anything else you can think of.
  4. Look up pictures of landmarks or cities or houses. Using books, toy people, Popsicle sticks, toy houses, or anything else you can find, build a town, city, landmark, or even your dream house. You could also use magazine cut outs.
  5. Draw your feelings. You could even make each color a feeling. Then draw it out. If you're sad, you might make a lot of blue, if your happy, yellow, and angry, red.

People with friends or siblings to do this with

  1. Go to different places in the house, without seeing where the other is going. Then, sneak around the house, looking for them. Try not to let them see you. By the way, both of you are sneaking up on each other. When you find them, try to scare them. Stay very silent
  2. Have a dance off. Turn the music up loud, and pretend to be the contestants, AND the judges.
  3. Play the hating game. It may sound mean, but it's actually fun to insult others, knowing they won't be offended. Pretend you hate each other, and have a blast doing it. Just make sure your friend knows that you're playing the game.
  4. Have an Olympics of random contests. You could play rock paper scissors, throwing contests, acrobatic contests, races, and anything else you can think of.
  5. Play a character game. Be princesses, knights, army men, hotel residents, or you could pretend to have dangerous jobs, like jumping off planes, shooting people(with Nerf guns), or so much more.

Sorry I couldn't think of any more. But you can always look up What to do when you're bored on the Internet. That's what I did. Then I made this list.

  1. Dear Freak of nature,

I got your message from my blog musical. I have an idea for your blog, If you like fantasy books, write a short fantasy story!

  2. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMMENTING! I will consider that idea. I am right now working on a novel, but I am going to save it until I grow up and get better at writing. Every idea I get, I write down on a notecard, put in in a bow, and plan to make it into a novel. Should I write the story in my blog, or just say my progress and when I'm done, then write it.

One way to get people on your blog is to give your blog adress to them! Tell them if they want, they can go on it! And yes, You should write the story on your blog!
